Welcome to a special page all about our Christmas activities!
This year we want to bring hope, light and joy to the people of Henleaze and Bristol.
- Celebrations begin on Sunday 15th December, 7:00 pm with our Carols by candlelight Service
- Then on Sunday 22nd December, 7:00pm, there are Carols around the Christmas Tree
- At 4:00 pm Christmas eve - a Christmas eve celebration for all the family.
- A traditional Christmas eve communion starting at 11:30 pm.
- Then on Christmas Day - an all-age Celebration Service at 10:30 am.
Carols by candlelight
This is on Sunday 15th December at 7:00 pm. There will be familiar carols, songs, readings and music by the singing group. It will be followed by some warming refreshments.
Carols around the Christmas tree
On Sunday 22nd December at 7:00 pm. A relaxed gathering singing carols around the Christmas tree, preceded by refreshments in the coffee bar at 6:30pm.
Awesome worship adventures for all on Christmas eve
Join us at 4:00 - 4:45 pm for a short fun and happy service to start the Christmas festivities with all the family. As well as the Christmas story there will be ideas and activities for children and adults. Led by Revd. Neil Thorogood this will be a time to share the Christmas story with all the family, sing some Christmassy songs and generally have a good time away from the hectic Christmas preparations.
.Midnight Communion
11:30 pm - 12:30 am Midnight Communion service will start at 11:30 pm in the Church. This is a quiet and reflective service with communion.Christmas Day All age service
10:30 am. Christmas morning all age service in the Church. A joyous and holy way to celebrate the birth of Jesus. Bring your presents!
